On a non-art history related note, I love Prunella Scales’s name. It has that “children’s book villain” feel to it. Although, I do find it a little jarring not seeing the beehive hairdo she wore during her Fawlty Towers days. Whenever I watched that show with my grandmother, she would say that women in Hickory, North Carolina style their hair in that way.
