A great roundtable discussion with go-to Surrealist Dawn Ades.  I enjoyed how they deconstructed the relationship between Surrealism and Freudian psychoanalysis.  Although, given how racy Surrealism could go, it felt as if the BBC’s standards and practices forced them to not go further into the subject.  This episode makes for a great introduction to Surrealism, psychoanalysis, and how and why the two came together and where they will go in the future.
