It’s Been Very Hard

Say what you will about Yoko’s vocal stylings, she makes great choices in the musicians she hires to back her up. I love the bluesy gospel feel of the back up band.  Plus the way she imitates the guitar.  Actually quite nice.  Southern fried music meets Avant-Garde.  I also love the Jazzy ending too.

Mind Train

John Lennon shows up when playing his guitar.  My parents said when they bought John and Yoko’s work, they always loved the music but did not like Yoko’s voice.  Here, I can agree.  I find the music top-notch, but her vocals?  Not so much.
