Interesting compositions, but I do not care much for the vocals. However, it does take me back to listening my friend’s Fear Factory albums as a teenager. By the way, has anyone asked why this band chose to name themselves after the Northern Renaissance Artist?

As a metal fan, I can tell you there is a long association between great art and metal. It is not unusual at all to see Northern artists on a metal album cover, especially Bosch. That being said, my favourite metal album cover is Morbid Angel’s ‘Blessed are The Sick’ which features Jean Delville’s ‘Les Tresors des Satan’ – Delville was one phenomenal artist that doesnt get much coverage – something I am hoping to remedy soon.
