I am not going to make a long review of this book.  However, I do want to say that I love it.  With his co-author Pat Hackett, Warhol weaves a tale starting with him moving to New York, the Factory heyday, to him getting almost killed by Valerie Solanas.  He talks about the various drugs he took, to his friendship with various socialites such as Edie Sedgwick.  It also reveals his sharp as a tack business savvy.  I love one part of the book where he questions the name “Underground movie.”  For people wanting to know about Warhol, this book and the PBS American Masters special make both essential tools for learning.
