Improvisation – Kandinsky 1914

The organ plays heavily in this nearly 14 minute song.  A rather harsh, oppressive instrument, yes?  I hear other instruments (I think there are other instruments), but the organ dominates over them.  Having looked at a Kandinsky painting that shares the same title, the organ matches the sense of chaos found in Kandinsky’s artwork.  I also feel this sinister edge created by the atmosphere of this song.
