Have you ever seen any artists whose work impressed you so much, you wonder why you never learned about them in your art history lessons?

This question, and blog entry, came into fruition after thinking about the art I saw on the museum/art history pages in my Facebook feed.  I look at these sculpture/paintings, and they leave me in awe at the endless fountain of creativity provided by humans, and sad that I never learned about them during my school years.

Then again, I may have thought about this question while looking at those pages, I don’t remember.
