Art History in “Ghostbusters 2”

Hey, the Manhattan Museum of Art had an Edgar Degas exhibit.  I do wonder about the “Orientalist” show.

Lastly, check out the painting (courtesy of Mutant Reviewers) made after the four stopped Carpathia.

ETA: Now that I have the full movie with me, I can quote Egon.

“Early Renaissance, I think.  Raphael or Piero della Francesca.”

Egon made a correct guess, the hand gestures do have a very Renaissance feel.
