Okay, I know I am stepping into a minefield because of this recent topic. For posts by people more qualified than me to speak on the problematic implications of this work, check out these links. (Warning: These links do contain descriptions of violence.)
I do however, have questions.
Why (ETA: as others have noticed after looking in a search engine) shape the cake woman’s body similar to the Venus of Willendorf? Not exactly a figure with a history of exploitation behind her.
What made the cutting of the person’s body to eat so funny to the Swedish? Did their instructions on where to cut and Linde’s screaming not give them the hint on what this work meant?
Did they not know that somebody played a trick on them?
