To the museum’s credit, they did capture what the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood stood for in less than two minutes. However, the grandeur and seriousness of this trailer does not stop me from laughing at it. The tone reminded me of a traveling show of Egyptian art that I saw in Atlanta, Georgia. At the start of the tour, the show had a trailer that had Harrison Ford narrating.

The Pre-Raphaelites choice of name had more to do with Sir Joshua Reynolds than it did with the talented young master from Urbino
They probably used melodrama as a tool to entice people. Also, thank you for the Reynolds tidbit.
