While I find Dali hard to read, I feel the same way about Gala.  With her silence, I see her as this stoic contrast to Salvador’s flamboyant persona. 

On the bullfight scene, did Dali see himself as the bull?  Did he feel himself dying when he morphed into a public figure?  Did that come from his subconscious and into the editing process?  Does that mean Dali had issues with his fame? 

One last note, what inspired him to associate piano playing with death?
