While I dove deep into non-art history related aspects of Ahlborn’s novels, I also noticed that the mentions of Craftsman homes that characters lived in.  These characters were not wealthy, and as the article I embedded points out, Craftsman homes were intended for the working class.  She references them in Within These Walls and The Devil Crept In (I think).
