In spite of my desire to rewrite some sentences here and there (plus I wanted to restructure the entire Notes section), I really enjoyed reading Aslan’s book.    Especially his description of the Second Temple.  There, the writer gives a detailed description of its measurements, functions, and architectural style (Roman, for those curious).
