Finally saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier. A fun romp to watch on the Fourth of July. If you, the reader, watched it and assume that I am going to write about the monuments that show up at the beginning of the film, I’m not.
Instead, I will acknowledge a piece of art owned by Alexander Pierce, the secretary of defense. In his house, I noticed that he owned a considerably large bronze head of the Buddha. Did that symbolize his status in the movie?
