I saw Jan Vermeer’s masterpiece at the High Museum of Art, which I will publish a report on.  While there, I bought some fake pearls:

Similar, maybe?  According to the information boxes provided by the High, the girl’s large pearl originated mostly Vermeer’s mind.  Which makes these reasonably priced earrings highly accurate in my opinion.

Possibly even clever.
