Going through the parade of monuments to regiments and battalions, you can see the variety of styles artists used to commemorate the dead.  With Neo-Classical, Classical, and some contemporary designs, the park peppers the field with a Post-Modern atmosphere of remembrance.  The Neo-Classical monuments uses abstracts that take on the form of women draped in togas who either look ahead stoically or look down on fallen soldiers in mourning.
