Next we went to see the Bayeux tapestry, which was by far one of my favorite things ever. The size of this thing is incredible – entering the room you think, “My goodness…” and then you realize its about double the length you initially thought. Mind you, it’s not a real tapestry – it’s actually just embroidered cloth. But it’s over 70 meters of beautifully embroidered cloth depicting William’s conquest of England! I loved looking closely at the stitched details in it
