The Mesmorizing Flowers of Georgia O’Keeffe

I am reading Barbara Buhler Lynes’s book on Georgia O’Keeffe, Alfred Stieglitz, and the critics who commented on their work.  Reading her book and how people reacted to O’Keeffe’s flowers fascinated me.  While I contemplated this, I couldn’t help but wonder if other people noticed contrasts between her flower paintings and other flower paintings by past artists.

Turns out I am right.
