I kid you not. The elevator doors in the Hickory Museum of Art malfunctioned and briefly trapped me inside. I can laugh at it now, but damned if it did not give me a case of mild claustrophobia. On a lighter note, I brought bread to an Arts Council luncheon yesterday and people loved it. Today, I finished up adding new information to the museum’s archives. In between that, I commandeer the receptionist desk and take phone calls. When I do not need to do that, I help update the museum’s database (their electronic archive system). Furthermore, I do the occasional heavy lifting for my bosses. All in all, I have a good time. Now I need to overcome this writer’s block and work on some cover letters.
